Teaching Practice

Morpheus's Craft teaching practice is influenced by the teachings of the Vanthi line of Feri Tradition, as well as teachings from other lines of Feri. She also integrates teachings from Celtic heroic traditions and mythology, folkloric Faery tradition, and Underworld tradition. She is a priestess of the Morrígan and integrates this work into her teaching, as well as working relationships with other deities, particularly Underworld and chthonic deities. Her practice focuses on connecting with Otherworld power; mediation of natural forces and direct connection with the land and seasons; developing understanding of the ecology of power as it moves through the land and between the worlds; and developing relationships with the Gods and Guardians, Otherworld contacts, and Faery beings.

In her teaching work, she owes much to inspiration from her own teachers in Vanthe coven, to the works of Gwydion Pendderwen and R.J. Stewart, to her colleagues in the Feri initiate community, and to folk traditions including Ireland and the Celtic countries, North Africa, Mesopotamia, Appalachian America, and many other sources.

Morpheus teaches primarily in a small, intimate apprentice group setting with committed students. At the present time, she does not have space for new apprenticeship students. She also teaches occasional public workshops at Pagan gatherings, festivals, and bookshop locations. You can view current workshop calendar here. You can also join a mailing list for updates to her teaching and performance calendar, by writing to her here.
